Wired Alarms

A wired alarm is one in which cables connect all the devices to the main control panel. It requires professional installation and is increasingly used in commercial applications.

Cables are typically surface-mounted and can be off-putting to the user, especially if the property has been recently refurbished or decorated.

Traditionally, wired systems were preferred to Wireless ones because they were perceived to be more robust and reliable. This is no longer the case as Wireless technology has improved considerably.

Wired alarms can offer a cost-effective upgrade solution when upgrading an existing alarm with installed wiring.
